The style "trench-coat, fedora style" statement requires the accessory - the violin case.

I love the trench-coat, fedora style with the gangster type suits. I think that men's fashion should trend a bit more that way (without the double breasting). More men should dress up.

As for the hats...pretend he wears it because of his chrome-dome. Then he should just shave it off. Many men look good strategically bald.

Dear RZA:

I stand corrected. When I see such an affectation, I naturally run for the assumption that the wearer, he is follically challenged.

I still prefer the Corleone look for the Jack.

Is he bald? I assume the hats just cover up a chrome dome. It worked for Rick Nielson when he was in Cheap Trick.

I would respond to Miss Prisspot that the fat men buy the jacket too tight because they think they will lose the weight, or they are too lazy to get a new jacket after they have gained the weight.

Foolish men.

Dearest Izzy,
Her Ladyship must thank you for reinforcing her continuing efforts to dispel the myth that fat men look good in a bouble breasted suit. Where did this come from? As the unofficial fashion advisor to the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington DC, her Ladyship has frequently been told that her dear charges know better than she that this look infact flatters them. Her Ladyship will spend an extra day in purgatory for taking delight in punishing them by replying that indeed they are right and should never wear anyother type of suit.

Thank you again
Lady Prisspott

PS Isn't it ironic that the fat man inadition to falling victim to this myth ALWAYS buys the jacket too tight.

Actually... I believe he is Jewish, and orthodox -- hence the hat on in all outside photographs.

Welcome to the new guy!

It seems that The Jack hasn't figured out that the hat, especially the baseball cap with the suit, only confirms for the dear viewer that the subject, he is bald and not confifdent enough to deal with it.

The black trenchcoat-fedora look at least gives off the Michael Corleone-villainy-vibe. Much preferable when you're looking at some hard time than the Opie-in-detention look.
