    Good heavens. I actually own the ladies’ version of those things. I got them in a vintage clothing shop (not in the wearwolf section, alack), and they are really, really useful* when I’m standing in a blizzard, waiting endlessly for a SEPTA bus to arrive.

    *I nearly typed “handy”, but was able to overcome the initial impulse.
