Wow. For such a small logo, that really looks tacky.

The key to logos is to confine them to polo shirts, and to keep them small. E.g., I have no problem with Brooks Brothers’ “Golden Fleece” polos, or with Ralph Lauren’s polo player — the small version. Yes, these logos do say “I wear Brooks Brothers” or “I wear Ralph Lauren,” but they do it with adequate discretion (quite unlike the mutant croc in the picture).

Of all the logos this one most deserves to be worn garishly on a sport coat - since that’s how Rene Lacoste himself got his start in clothing:
