This pair of brogues from Tricker’s of England has the most unusual patina Izzy has ever seen. Looking as if it were made of burled walnut, it reminds Izzy of Florentine leather that is crafted to look like wood.

Hi Izzy,
I have been looking for neckerties for awhile. Do you know where in NYC might one find elegant neckerchiefs at decent prices? Also, is there a site with the different methods on tying a neckerchief? I saw some really interesting ways of tying in Germany when i was presenting a paper.

Oikono, let me take the liberty of directing you to a PDF of the original Regency instructions on how to tie a cravat, an article which started out as a square of muslin or linen; the “how to” should be equally applicable to a silk square, and give you some choices which are attractive and out of the ordinary:

Is Tricker’s the store that Kinky Boots was based on?
