I wouldn't wear them with suspenders, but would with and without ties and certain good wool dress pants, "chinos" and jeans. I have for decades and do so now wear similar ones - by Polo RL - absent the button-down collars. If anyone knows where to get the ones Hanks wore in the movie (with or without French cuffs!) please let folks know... Even with the strange dress sense of the 70's and 80's I cannot remember anyone wearing such awful shirts as these. The braces/suspenders worn inside the epaulets are quite sickening. Wilson clearly was/is a man with bad taste!
