Mr. Chips Goes to Washington

By Izzy

tweedy Robert Redford

Testifying in front of Congress about the funding of the National Endowment for the Arts, Robert Redford costumed himself as an old-fashioned school teacher, complete with a tweed jacket with a narrow lapel and throat latch, as well as appropriately mussed hair.  Izzy would have believed anything the man said.

I’m still trying to figure out why he has aged so badly because he was so handsome as a young man, And he needs to stop coloring his hair himself!

    Izzy would be sorry!

Someone needs to dress this man, perferably someone with taste! He either dresses too old (as above) or too young. Send him up to Montreal, I heard the women and men dress very fasionably, regardless of their age.

I can’t see how he can dye his hair himself if he weares a hairpiece. I would think that both would need to be done professionally.

I don’t see anything wrong with his looks except that he seems to be trying to hang on to his youth. I think it would be striking if he let his hair go white. But can you imagine the reaction of audiences - remember the reaction to his appearance in Havana. The man in 71 for god’s sake and he should be allowed to age.
