House of Bourbon

By Izzy

Duncan Quinn Fleur de Lis tie

GQ described New York-based haberdasher Duncan Quinn as “rock ‘n roll meets Savile Row,” which well captures its combination of traditional tailoring with flashy colors and patterns.  Izzy is particularly taken with this fleur de lis necktie, a bold take on a classical shape.  Alas, at $255 only French monarchs are likely to afford it.

  1. Annalucia Says:

The Annalucia has been sitting here trying to think of someone – anyone – who could possibly get away with wearing either of these ties, and she has finally got it: Bobby Jindal. He has the skin tone that looks good with the really bold colors, and as he is governor of Louisiana, the fleur-de-lis would even be appropriate. (Though she suspects that if Mr. Jindal were offered either of these ties as a gift, he would go for the dotted one.)

I dont suppose Izzy has to wear one those. How about it? Just for experiences sake. Then you might deal out better advice/review/opinions
