Really, Izzy! Chinese made kicks from a mass marketer of the first order? One that combines the very worst characteristics of the sometimes amusing worlds of Mr. Hilfiger and Mr. Buffet? Jimmy, not Warren.

My Donald J. Pliners, not made in China, are blushing that these Thom McCan lookalikes merit mention in your space. My Prada would blush if I had any.

I can't do distance in loafers. Anything I can slip on won't fit well enough to give me proper support over the long haul. I need something that laces.

The key for me is finding the right combination of cushioning and support. Right now Timberland Stormbucks seem to be giving it to me, but your mileage may vary.
