Like a bodice for your feet and legs, these Converse-inspired boots (for lack of a better term) can be found on display at the Virtual Shoe Museum, home to footwear both fantastic and nightmarish.

The Annalucia is trying to figure out how long it would take to straighten the “tongue” of the shoe so that it will stay in place while it is being laced all the way up to the timber line. She expects that it would take much longer than she was willing to devote to the project. On the other hand it looks like a suitable accessory for the comic-book superhero who disguises himself as the street punk.
